Joyce Fullington

Dear Clear Creek School Community,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is with great excitement and sincere gratitude that I introduce myself as the principal of Clear Creek Elementary. I am honored to continue to partner with this exceptional school community, and I look forward to working together to support the growth, learning, and success of every student.

I am the proud mother of a CMS high school graduate! I have a firsthand understanding and a great appreciation for schools working in partnership with families in order for our students to have a successful educational journey. This year, I will continue to ensure Parent Engagement is one of our focus areas. 

As an educator with over 25 years of experience in elementary education—as a teacher, instructional leader, assistant principal and principal for the past 8 years, I bring with me a deep commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environments where all children feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe that strong relationships between home and school are essential, and I am excited to continue building those partnerships with you.

At Clear Creek Elementary, we will continue to focus on:

• Whole-child development, including social and emotional well-being
• Open communication and collaboration with families and the community

I am eager to get to know our new families celebrate the exceptional work we did last year with our returning families!  You can expect regular updates from me throughout the school year, and I encourage you to reach out anytime with questions, feedback, or ideas.

Thank you for your support of  Clear Creek Elementary...Home of the Dragons! I can hardly wait to meet each of you at Open House on Thursday, August 20th. We will host two sessions, from 4pm-5pm for families with the last name beginning with A-L and 5pm-6pm for last names beginning with M-Z. I'm looking forward to an exciting year of fun learning and growth! Go Dragons!
